Robert K. "Sunshine" Williamson

KINGWOOD TOWNSHIP, NJ - Robert K. “Sunshine” Williamson, 77, of Kingwood Township, NJ, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2010, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born on July 2, 1932 in Reaville, NJ, Robert lived in Frenchtown for over 35 years prior to moving to Kingwood, NJ 8 years ago. He worked at Flemington Block & Supply Co. in Flemington, NJ as the head mechanic for 35 years. Robert was a member of the Faith Chapel Wesleyan Church in Annandale, NJ. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband and father and will dearly missed.

Son of the late Clarence and Mary (Sipler) Williamson, Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Esther Williamson; son, Robert W. Williamson of Nazareth, PA; daughter, Josephine T. Burham of Easton, PA; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Kenneth Alvin Joseph Williamson; daughter, Virginia Mary Williamson; 3 sisters; 6 brothers and his granddaughter, Danielle Walker.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 11 am at the Faith Chapel Wesleyan Church, 43 Lower Landsdown Road, Annandale, NJ 08801. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 am prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ 08848.
