Carol M. Evans

Carol M. Evans, 82, of Toms River, NJ, formerly of Frenchtown, NJ, passed peacefully on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Complete Care at Bey Lea in Toms River, NJ.

Born March 22, 1939 in Frenchtown, NJ, Carol grew up in Rahway, NJ where she graduated from Rahway High School. Carol lived in Colorado Springs, Colonia and Manchester Township, NJ. She retired from Merck where she was a Graphic Artist. Carol loved to dance and was a devoted member of the NJ Country Western Association. Carol was an artist - from arts & crafts to painting and ceramics. She enjoyed time in her garden with her family, friends and beloved dog Rusty. We will miss her warm smile, sense of humor and beautiful blue eyes.

Daughter of the late Charles Leon and Nelda Virginia (Sipes) Bedman, Carol is survived by her son William Evans of St. Augustine, FL, her niece Karen Carlsson O’Brien of Wilton, CT, and nephew Scott Carlsson of Wall, NJ. Carol has four great nieces and nephews who she adored playing with. She was predeceased by her sister Bernice Mae (Bedman) Carlsson.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Frenchtown Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
