Diane Benskin

Diane Benskin, 61, of Upper Frankford, Newville, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at her home.

Born May 25, 1958 in Plainfield, NJ, Diane grew up in Milford, NJ. After her service in the U.S. Navy, she settled in Phillipsburg, NJ for 20 years. She lived in Ohio before moving to Newville, PA in 2007. She worked as a bartender for many years and loved her job, especially her time working at the Cokesbury Inn. Diane loved baking, especially baking breads. She was a former member of St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church in Milford, NJ.

Diane is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Rodger W. Benskin, her parents Robert and Joan (Tomaso) Buerk of Alexandria Township, NJ, her two daughters Danielle Hill and her husband Josh of Asbury, NJ and Rachel Adams and her husband Jon of Virginia, her sister Charlotte Buerk, and her five grandchildren Isabella, Abigail, Robert, Madelynn, and Henry. She was predeceased by her brother James Buerk in 2007.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. A graveside services with military honors will follow at 1 PM at the St. Philip & St. James Cemetery, County Road 519 & US 22, Phillipsburg, NJ.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
