Grace E. Pandy

Grace E. Pandy, 95, of Kingwood Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at her home.

Born January 20, 1925 in Tinicum Township, PA, Grace lived there for many years, before moving to Kingwood Township sixty-eight years ago. Grace and her husband, Joe, purchased the family farm from his father in 1956 and they farmed together until 1981, when Joe died and she continued on- milking cows and doing field work with only John Deere tractors, and often a grandson would be with her. Grace was in charge of farm operations with her son, William. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, flowers, and "digging in the dirt."

Daughter of the late Grant and Esther (Bryan) Weaver, Grace is survived by her son William Pandy and his wife Jennie, her two daughters Beth Ann Pandy and Madelyn K. Trimmer and her husband Richard, her brother Roy G. Weaver, her five grandchildren Holly, Wesley, Ella, Kory, and Shawn, her ten great-grandchildren, and her great-great-grandson. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Pandy in 1981, her son-in-law Paul J. DiSarro in 2002, her brother John D. Weaver, her sister Ella Shoudt, and her granddaughter Wendy Pandy-Leh.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 6-8 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 21 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Upper Tinicum Cemetery in Tinicum Township, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Macula Vision Research Foundation, 100 Front Street, Suite 300, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
