Robert L. Muller

Robert "Bob" L. Muller, 88, of Alexandria Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at his home.

Born August 2, 1931 in New York City, NY, Robert served in US Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He received his BA in journalism from Middlebury College in New York. Robert worked as an editor for the Wall Street Journal in New York City and England, for many years. He was also a licensed pilot. Robert was a dog lover, breeding and raising Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. He enjoyed playing tennis and ice hockey. Robert had many loving friends and touched many lives with his daily visits to The Little York, Holland Township Library, Mountain View Chalet, Milford House, Dutch Mill Market, Perryville Liquors, Minette's Candies, Libbybeans Chocolatiers and Scissor Talk. He was grateful for his many loving friendships.

Son of the late Louis Holtkamp and Elizabeth (Dagenhardt) Muller, Robert is survived by his sister Lois Brandt and her husband Robert and his many special and dear friends. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Jeanne E. Muller in 2007.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the Holland Free Public Library, 129 Spring Mills Road, Milford, NJ 08848.
