So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I had worked with him many years at Kuhl Corporation and he was always kind and considerate. 79 is too young to leave these days so I hope he is at peace. I send my deepest condolences to Jim's wife and family.

My sincere condolences to Kathy and the family on the loss of their beloved Jim. He always had a smile & a hello for me when our paths would cross here at work. He left this world way too soon, and may he watch over all those he loved.

The large Everett family, I am truly sorry to hear of the passing of "Jimmy", as I always knew him when growing up in Somerville, NJ. We were natural friends because we were the same age, and he lived three houses up the the street from me in our formative years. We were pals in the early years of our schooling, and did many fun things together that bordered on crazy at times. Unfortunately our life paths took very different directions and we wound up living in various states, so we lost touch with each other. But years later one circumstance brought us together for a very nice reunion. My mother Helen Docherty wanted to go see Jimmy, and I was eager to do so also. So we traveled to Upper Black Eddy, PA from Somerville for a visit that I will never forget, probably in the middle to late '80s. It was wonderful visiting with him and reminiscing about our youthful years. Of course, he HAD to show us his wonderful sheep in his barn, of which he was very proud. I see in his obituary that he was very serious about raising them, and that he was very proud of the sheep award bestowed on him. The only other time I "saw" him after that was in some pictures from Mrs. Everett's amazing 100th birthday celebration! Of course, it was a real time warp seeing those pictures. I always was amazed by her ability to take care of those EIGHT children who were all over our neighborhood. Her surviving children and Jimmy's siblings are spread out all over the map, but I send my condolences to Bill, Joan, Mary, Kathy, Roger, and all the extended Everett family. The best to you all. Bruce Docherty, Oakton, VA

Sorry to hear of Jim’s death. I first met him in Somerset County 4H . Jim was the best showman I ever competed against. I tried to watch and learn his methods of making the best presentation for the animal he was exhibiting. Jim sheared our first sheep and I helped him set up ventilation in his lambing barn. His sheep were is love and he was dedicated shepherd. Our sincere condolences to all. Ron and Kathy Perrine
