Alice E. Hilbert, 90, of Ottsville, Tinicum Township, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at her home.
Alice was born on November 12, 1934 in Upper Black Eddy, PA and lived there until she moved to Ottsville, PA in 1972. She graduated from Palisades High School. Alice worked as a sales representative at Sears & Robuck Co. in Doylestown and then Montgomeryville, PA, for many years. Alice loved the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers. Alice enjoyed sewing, cooking, doing puzzles, playing games, and reading. She loved to travel with her family. Most of all, Alice enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Upper Tinicum Lutheran Church and the Eastern Upper Bucks Senior Center.
Daughter of the late Earl and Helen (Pursell) Powers, Alice is survived by her three daughters Linda Strychowski and her husband Richard, Peggy Gimson and her husband Richard, and Patty Behot and her husband Robert, her sister Nancy Powers, her seven grandchildren Megan, Christopher, Michelle, Kristen, Douglas, Daniel, and Karen, and her twelve great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Howard Hilbert, Jr. in 2003 and her sister Betty Nagy.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 10-11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM with Pastor John Hansen officiating. Interment will follow at the Upper Tinicum Cemetery in Tinicum Township, PA.
