Alice Mae Sosdorf, 86, of Beauford, SC, formerly of Telford, PA, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 7, 2024 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. 

Born August 9, 1938 at home in Uhlerstown, PA, Alice lived in Telford, PA, and moved to Beauford, SC, in 2004.  She graduated from Palisades High School.  Alice worked for the United States Postal Service and became Postmaster in Hilltown, PA for many years, until her retirement in 1992.  She enjoyed traveling around the country, visiting all 50 states.  In addition to country line dancing, Alice loved riding on the back of George’s Harley Davidson.  She was an animal lover and she especially loved her dogs Harley and Schotzie.  Alice was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Daughter of the late Melvin and Helen McIntyre, Alice is survived by her daughter Tammy (Lines) Cutaiar and her husband Fred, her six sisters Helen, Linda, Sindy, Kim, Bonnie, and Connie, her brother Kevin McIntyre, her granddaughter Alicia Ann Lincoln, and her great-grandson Curtis Rae Morton, III.  Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Sosdorf in 2021, as well as her daughter Terry Lincoln and brother Melvin McIntyre. 

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 11 AM – 12 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. A Celebration of Alice’s Life will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home.
