Andrew E. Budzak, 87, of Holland Township, NJ passed away on Friday January 21, 2011 at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ.

Born November 18, 1923 in Hughestown, PA, Andrew lived in Roselle Park, NJ before moving to Holland Township seventeen years ago. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of WWII. He was an analyst at Union Carbide in Newark, NJ where he worked for twenty five years, before retiring. Andrew was an avid gardener and enjoyed bowling and competing in bowling leagues. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his beloved family.

Son of the late Simon and Pauline Budzak, Andrew is survived by his beloved wife of sixty four years, Ruth Stanton Budzak, three daughters Nancy Gregson and her husband William of Holland Township, Patricia Maulshagen and her husband Robert of Smithville, NJ and Joyce Miczulski and her husband Len of Holland Township, two sisters Rosalie Ardo and Ann Baker, both of Pittston, PA, eight grandchildren William, Dawn, Brian, Robert Jr., Mandy, Jill, Kristen and Ashley and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Ruthann Budzak, four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 25, 2011 at 10 AM from the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church in Milford, NJ. Interment with military honors will follow at Milford Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday January 24, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
