Anne Alexandra Boyd, 93, of Doylestown, PA, formerly of Holland Township, NJ passed away on Sunday April 18, 2010 at the Greenleaf Nursing Home in Doylestown, PA.
Born March 24, 1917 in New York City, Anne moved to Mt. Pleasant (Holland Township), NJ in 1948. She lived in Doylestown since 1997. Anne had worked at the Delaware Valley Market in Milford, NJ and was a homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Anne was a member of St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church in Milford and a member of the churchs Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Holland Township Senior Citizens.
Daughter of the late Wojciech and Stanislawa Bien, Annes beloved husband John Arthur Boyd passed away in 1988. She is survived by her daughter Anne Marie Grim of Holland Township, three sons John A. Boyd, Jr. of St. Croix, VI, Walter J. Boyd of Freehold, NJ and William T. Boyd of Illinois, two brothers Peter Bien of Laceyville, PA and Stephen Bien of Palm Harbor, FL, 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Anne was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Pegg and Mary Bien and three brothers, Stanley, Walter and John Bien.
Funeral services will be held on Monday April 26, 2010 at 9 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church, Milford, NJ. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
