Annetta Meyers, 87, formerly of Kingwood Township, NJ. passed away on Friday October 8, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Frenchtown, NJ.

Born August 20, 1923 in Frenchtown, NJ., where she was a life long resident, graduating from Frenchtown High School, Class of 1941.Annetta married her husband of 64 years, Edward C. Meyers Sr., July 7, 1946 moving to Kingwood Township in 1952 when Edward built their home. She was a telephone operator working for United Telephone Company in Clinton, NJ. before retiring in 1986. Annetta was a life time member of the Frenchtown Methodist Church, also a member of the Milford Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed shopping, dining out and had a passion for travel. She will be remembered as a loving wife to her husband, and will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Samuel and Nancy Cooley, Annetta is survived by her loving husband Edward C. Meyers Sr., of Frenchtown, NJ., a daughter Peggy'Ann Stull and husband Kenneth of Holland Township, NJ. Her Son Edward C. Meyers Jr., and wife Susan also of Holland Township,NJ., three Grandchildren, Brian Stull and fiance Kerrie Vogel, Kevin Stull and Karen Jo Miller and husband Frank and a Great Granddaughter, Allison Olivia Miller. She is predeceased by her brother Benjamin Cooley.

Funeral services will be held on Monday October 11,2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow in Riegelsville Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
