Arthur D. Cronce, Sr., 70, of Williams Township, PA, formerly of Everittstown, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday February 12, 2012 at St. Lukes Hospital Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township, PA.
Born July 26, 1941 in Everittstown, Alexandria Township, NJ, Arthur was a life long resident there until moving to Williams Township, PA in 2003. He worked as a farmer his entire life on his familys farm in Everittstown. He was an avid bowler and played in bowling leagues and he enjoyed racing go-carts. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Arthur was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was known for always lending a helping hand to anyone that needed one.
Arthur is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Ann Strain Cronce, his daughter Lori Ann Clark and her husband Patrick of Williams Township, PA, his son Arthur D. Cronce, Jr. and his wife Ambre of Palmer Township, PA, three sisters Judy Opdyke, Betty Hale and Clorenda Garrett and his six grandchildren Amber, Kaitlyn, Courtney, Jacob, Cody and Daniel. He was predeceased by his grandson Nicholas Cronce in 2010.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 16, 2012 at 2 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ with Pastor Patrick Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Raubsville Cemetery in Williams Township, PA. Visitation will also be on Thursday from 1 2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
