Beatrice Maria Fish, 92, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, passed away on Monday August 29, 2011 at Brakeley Park Center in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Born July 18, 1919 in Holland Township, NJ, Beatrice lived in Mt. Pleasant, NJ and in Bethlehem Twp., NJ before moving to Lopatcong Twp. She was a homemaker who worked as a waitress in several local restaurants and at Kerrs Hatchery in Frenchtown, NJ. Beatrice volunteered often and was an active member of several organizations including the Bethlehem Twp. Senior Citizens, she enjoyed camping and traveling.

Daughter of the late Russell and Helen (Woolf) Strouse, Beatrice is survived by her son
Clifford Fish Jr. of Cherry Valley, CA, sisters Hazel Aller of Milford, NJ and Dorothy Stout of Florida many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Clifford G. Fish (1995), a daughter Patricia Marie Fisher, brother Harold Strouse, two sisters Mildred Runyon , Edith Houseworth.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 3, 2011 at 10 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton, NJ. Visitation will be 9-10 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
