Barbara J. Housworth Obituary

Barbara J. Housworth, 78, of Upper Black Eddy, PA passed away on Saturday May 7, 2011 at her home.

Born April 9, 1933 in Upper Black Eddy, Barbara was a life long resident of there. She was a homemaker and had worked at Javes Bakery in Milford at one time. She enjoyed her second home in Florida. Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Daughter of the late Karl and Ethel Hensel Schmitt, Barbaras beloved husband Edward T. Skip Housworth passed away in 2008. She is survived by her two daughters Karen High and her husband Larry of Erwinna, PA and Patti Lewis and her husband Jeff of Perkasie, PA, her sister Dorothy Young of Upper Black Eddy, PA, four grandchildren Melissa, David, Danielle and Jared, four great grandchildren Taylor, Makenzie, Jason and R.J. and two step grandchildren Robert and Aaron High. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Schmitt.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 12, 2011 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow in Upper Tinicum Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Doylestown Hospice or to a charity of ones choice.
