Benjamin C. Chilmonik, 26, of Alexandria Township, NJ died of complications from heart surgery on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Born May 7, 1987 in Raritan Township, NJ, Ben was a life long resident of Alexandria Township, NJ. He graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in 2006. Ben was an aspiring writer and comedian. He had performed at several well known comedy clubs in NYC. Ben enjoyed writing, reading and spending time with his family and friends. Ben always stuck up for the underdog, he loved to laugh and make others laugh too. He was a member of the St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church and served as an alter server for many years.

Ben is survived by his parents John and Barbara (Farrell) Chilmonik of Alexandria Township, NJ, his sister Jessica Chilmonik of Alexandria Township, NJ, his maternal grandmother Arleen Farrell of Sellersville, PA, and his many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Vincent Farrell and his paternal grandparents John and Grace Chilmonik.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 10 AM at St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church, Route 519, Milford, NJ. Interment will follow in the Milford Union Cemetery. Following the graveside service, everyone is invited to his family's home for a gathering to celebrate Ben's life. Please bring a funny story!
