Bill Grossman Obituary

William Jay Grossman, 70, of Kingwood Township, NJ lost his battle with lung cancer on Friday October 15, 2010 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Bill was born on May 1, 1940 to Oscar and Ida Komisar Grossman and lived on his familys farm in Frenchtown all his life. He worked for many years with his parents to develop a large-scale poultry operation and he was also the owner of Delaware Valley Equipment Co. on Rt. 12 in Kingwood Township since 1970. A life-long resident of Kingwood Township, NJ, Bill proudly served on the Kingwood Township Board of Adjustment. For many years, he was a fixture at Flemington Speedway and always remained a racing fan. More recently, Bill had been getting great joy from collecting antique farm tractors.

Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ilona Entenberg Grossman and his brother Dr. Robert A. Grossman and his wife Dr. Linda Grossman of Wynnewood, PA. He will also be dearly missed by his close family of aunts, uncle, cousins and in-laws, whom he was always happy to be with.

Services are private, but the family welcomes friends to stop by Bill and Ilonas home to reminisce on the afternoons of Saturday Oct. 23 or Sunday Oct. 24.

Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.
