Brenda L. Hornberger, 66, of Milford, NJ, passed away Monday August 27, 2012 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born June 4, 1946 in Union Township, NJ, she was a lifetime resident of the area. Brenda worked in shipping as a clerk at Bio-Serve, a pet products manufacturer in Frenchtown for many years, before retiring earlier this year. She was a lover of animals, especially her many cats. She will be dearly missed by, her beloved family and friends.

Daughter of the late Elmer Hornberger and the late Evelyn Riegel, she was survived by her brother, William Hornberger of SC; her sister, Della Hoffman of Flemington, NJ; her nieces, Paula Koval of Hillsborough, NJ, Cheryl Torres of Troy, PA and Joan Falk, as well as many other nieces and nephews. Brenda was also survived by her companion, Robert Heckman of Holland Township. She was preceded in death by her nephew Gordon Falk.

Arrangements were private and under the care the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ.
