Carrie E. Whitman, 86, of Milford, NJ, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at her home.

Born August 18, 1938 in Raritan Township, NJ, Carrie was a lifelong resident of Milford, NJ. She attended Frenchtown High School. Carrie was a homemaker. She loved the outdoors, especially fishing. Carrie was an avid bowler for many years. She played and organized leagues at the Frenchtown Bowling Alley. Most of all, Carrie was a loving wife and mother. She will be dearly missed by her beloved daughter.

Daughter of the late Oliver and Myrtle (Baker) Sherman, Carrie is survived by her daughter Deborah A. Whitman of Milford, NJ. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles Arthur Whitman in 1991.

Services will be private. Interment will be held at the Milford Union Cemetery in Milford, NJ. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
