Charles SkipHornbaker III, 53 of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday December 4, 2012 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ.
Born December 4, 1959 in Frenchtown, NJ, Skip lived most of his life in Frenchtown before moving to Easton, PA in 1992. He was a graduate of Delaware Valley Regional High School. He worked for Johanna Foods in Flemington, NJ for 32 years. Skip was an avid outdoorsman that loved fishing, camping and hiking. He was a talented man that liked to work with his hands. He was known for making his own fishing poles. Skip will be missed by his beloved family and many friends.
Skip is survived by his mother Margie Hornbaker of Pennsylvania, his daughter Jacqueline Hornbaker of Alpha, NJ, sons Douglas and Jonathan Hornbaker both of Easton, PA, his brother Shawn Hornbaker, his two sisters Wendy Fortner and Melody Link and his two grandchildren Skyla and Sierra Welsh. He was predeceased by his father Charles Hornbaker II.
A Celebration of Skip's Life will be held on Wednesday December 12, 2012 at 7:30 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday evening, from 6 7:30 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
