Charlotte D. Seyfried, 86, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2010, at Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge, NJ.
Charlotte was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 3, 1923. She and her husband Carl lived in Rockville Center, Long Island, NY before moving to Bridgewater, NJ in 1964 and lived there many years before moving to Holland Township, NJ. Charlotte then moved to Fellowship Village and resided there until her death. Her husband predeceased her in July of 1995. Charlotte was a graduate of Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, Class of 1945. She worked briefly for an import and export firm before she was married. She worked as a nursery school aid and as a secretary. She had been a member and elder of the Alexandria First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Pleasant. She loved cats and dogs! She had been a great cook and loved to bake.
Daughter of the late William and Charlotte Dau, Charlotte is survived by her son, Paul Seyfried and his wife Debbie of Springfield, NH and grandchildren, Jaime Farone and her husband Marcus of Saratoga Springs, NY and Jason Seyfried of Freedom, ME.
A graveside service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ 08848.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alexandria First Presbyterian Church, 141 Little York-Mt. Pleasant Road, Milford, NJ 08848.
