Clark Bud Snyder, 82, of Holland Township, NJ passed away on Monday July 19, 2010 at St. Lukes Hospital in Fountain Hill, PA.

Born April 19, 1928 in Mt. Zion, PA, Bud lived in Mt. Pleasant and Holland Township for many years. He served his country in the US Army and worked for M & G Convoy Trucking out of Buffalo, NY for over twenty years before retiring in 1987. He was also a mechanic. Bud was a friend to all, and enjoyed meeting and talking with people. He was a loving husband and father and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid NASCAR fan, his favorites being #3 and #88. He also enjoyed classic cars. Bud was a former member of the Alexandria First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Pleasant, where he served as a trustee and a deacon.

Son of the late Clark A. and Elizabeth Robertson Snyder, Bud is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Kathryn Kaye Ulmer Snyder, two sons Bruce and his wife Barbara of Holland Township and Jeff and his companion Sherry Maurer of Kintersville, PA, three daughters Terri McLane and her husband Greg of Forks Twp., PA, Lisa Rounsaville of Nazareth, PA and Melanie Shafer and her companion Kevin Geroni of Ferndale, PA, seven grandchildren Jeremy, Melissa, Justin, Tyler, Craig, Austin and Zachary and two great granddaughters Alexia and Bridget. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Brian Rounsaville (1995), three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 23, 2010 at 8 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will be private. Visitation will also be Friday from 6 8 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
