Concetta Pasterkiewicz, 80, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, February 23, 2026, at her home.
Born May 26, 1945, in Reggio, Calabria, Italy, Concetta came to the United States at the age of 13, settling with her family in Linden, NJ. She graduated from Linden High School and remained in Linden before moving to Kingwood Township in 1973 and then to Holland Township in 1978, where she made her home for the rest of her life.
Alongside her beloved husband, Paul, Concetta proudly owned and operated the Little York Inn for over 30 years, becoming a familiar and welcoming presence to the community. A woman of remarkable energy and talent, she wore many hats throughout her life. She worked as a seamstress and secretary; she owned the Deco Dungeon Antique Store in Milford and the Milford Bakery; she also worked at the Riegel Ridge Community Center, where she managed the pool and ran the snack bar. She served as a bus driver for Del Val School District and its sports teams, managed the kitchen at Oak Hill Golf Club and at the Little York Inn, and also worked as a real estate agent. No matter the role, Concetta approached everything with dedication, warmth, and an unmistakable spirit.
Concetta had a deep love for creativity and community. She enjoyed gardening, antiquing, crocheting, macramé, stained glass work, playing cards, bowling, visiting the casino, and especially cooking for her family and friends. She was a talented bowler and her team won a national championship in Las Vegas, NV.
Her commitment to serving others was evident in her many volunteer roles. Concetta was an EMT with the Milford-Holland Rescue Squad and a devoted member of the Milford Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She coached the Riegel Ridge Rams cheerleading squad, lovingly making the team’s uniforms and costumes by hand. She served on the Holland Township Board of Education and was an active member of the PTA. Additionally, she dedicated her time as a commissioner of the Riegel Ridge YMCA, always working to enrich the lives of local families and children.
Above all, Concetta will be remembered for her strength, generosity, creativity, and unwavering love for her family. Her home was always open, her kitchen always warm, and her heart always full.
Daughter of the late Giovanni and Demenica (Germano) Richichi, Concetta is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Paul Pasterkiewicz, her two sons Joseph Pasterkiewicz and his wife Aleta, and John Pasterkiewicz and his wife Joanne, her daughter Lisa Skripko and her husband Scott, her eight grandchildren Scott Skripko and his wife Kiele, Joseph Baier and his wife Natalie, Alex Pasterkiewicz, Brianna Skripko, Marissa Skripko, Kasia Pasterkiewicz, Katie Cleland, and Patrick Cleland, her four siblings Angela Motta, Giuseppa Nigro, Maria Buoscio, and Pasquale Richichi.
