Doreen Faye Conrad, 56, of Upper Black Eddy, PA, passed away on Sunday November 4, 2012.
Born August 3, 1956, Doreen lived in Erwinna, PA before moving to Upper Black Eddy over 30 years ago. She graduated from Palisades High School in Nockamixon Twp, PA. She was the owner of the Milford Station Bakery in Milford, NJ. Doreen was a loving wife, mother, daughter and grandmother. Her family meant everything to her and she loved spending time with them. She was known for her kind spirit and her generosity, she cared for other people and her community and will be missed by all those who knew her. Doreen enjoyed the outdoors and liked taking walks, especially with her husband Ed. She participated in the Susan G. Komen Walk for a Cure several times. She was a member of the Milford Merchant's Association.
Doreen is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Edward J. Conrad, her mother Alice SueWeaver of Erwinna, PA, her son Jeffrey R. Snyder of Nazareth, PA, her daughter Kimberly A. Butz and her husband Jonathan of Wescosville, PA, two brothers Robert Weaver of Springtown, PA and Keith ButchWeaver of Erwinna, PA, two sisters Carolyn Breithoff of Virginia and Cathy Rice of Springtown, PA, two grandsons Zachery Snyder and Ryan Butz and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Norman Weaver.
Funeral services will be held on Friday November 9, 2012 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ with Pastor Linda Bullock officiating. Interment will follow in Upper Tinicum Cemetery in Upper Black Eddy, PA. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 8 PM at the funeral home.
