Edward C. Meyers, Sr., 86, of Kingwood Township, NJ passed away on Saturday July 14, 2012 at the N.J. Memorial Veterans Home of Menlo Park in Edison, NJ.

Born July 2, 1926 in Frenchtown, NJ, Edward was a life long resident of Kingwood Township, NJ. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of WW II. He was a self employed plumber and owner of Ed Meyers Plumbing and Heating. Edward loved his family and enjoyed gardening. He was a charter member of the Milford VFW and a member of the Frenchtown American Legion Fidelity Post 113.

Son of the late Amos and Nora Kise Meyers, Edwards beloved wife, Annetta Cooley Meyers, passed away in 2010. He is survived by his son Edward C. Meyers, Jr. and his wife Susan of Holland Township, NJ, his daughter Peggy-Ann Stull and her husband Kenneth of Holland Township, NJ, three grandchildren Brian Stull, Karen Miller and Kevin Stull and his great granddaughter Allison Miller.
He was predeceased by his brother, Herman Meyers.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 18, 2012 at 10 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment with military honors will follow in Riegelsville Cemetery in Riegelsville, PA. Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 9 10 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
