Elaine Ann Taylor, 72, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, at her home.  

Born May 27, 1952 in Easton, PA, Elaine was a lifelong resident of Holland Township, NJ.  She graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in 1970.  Elaine worked for H&R Block in Phillipsburg, NJ, for 40 years.  She also worked for Sun Bank in Holland Township, NJ, for 20 years.  Elaine also worked at Oak Hill Golf Club in Holland Township, NJ and Moninghoff Appliance Co. in Milford, NJ.  She enjoyed watching her grandchildren sing and play sports, she also loved going on trips to Disney World with them.  She enjoyed going shopping with her friends, and for years, they had regular shopping days together.  Elaine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be dearly missed.  She was a member of the Milford VFW Auxiliary. 

Daughter of the late John and Grace (Niece) Chilmonik, Elaine is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Richard D. Taylor, her son Michael Taylor and his significant other Amy Goodell, her daughter Melissa Kramer and her significant other Ryan Brennan, her two brothers John Chilmonik and Rick Chilmonik (Milford, NJ), her sister Nancy Nicholson (Sun City, FL), and her three grandchildren Victoria, Jacob, and Cole (who say she is the “Best Grammy Ever”).   

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Monday, November 4, 2024 from 6-8 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 5., 2024 at 11 AM, at the funeral home, with Pastor Nick Hatch officiating.  Interment will follow at the Frenchtown Cemetery in Frenchtown, NJ.
