Elizabeth P. "Pat" Bartells, 92, of Tinicum Township, PA, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born March 17, 1920 in Kinnelon, NJ, Pat had lived in Warren County, NJ, Quakertown, NJ and Florida before moving to Upper Black Eddy 20 years ago. She graduated from Blairstown High School. Pat worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse and a substitute teacher. She was also a homemaker. She was a Cub Scout den mother at one time, enjoyed singing in church, gardening, biking, walking and swimming. Pat attended the First United Church of Christ in Milford, NJ.

Daughter of the late Fredrick & Elizabeth (Curren) Cook, Pat is survived by her two sons Robert J. Bartells and his wife Christine of Ottsville, PA and Donald H. Bartells and his wife Mickey of Pipersville, PA, her brother James Cook of Blairstown, NJ, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Walter R. Bartells (1995), her three brothers Fredrick, Frank and George Cook and her sister Winifred Cook.

Services will be private under the care of Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ. Interment will be in Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Blairstown, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
