Elizabeth Betty M. Butler, 78, of Milford, NJ passed away on Sunday April 18, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ.

Born November 29, 1931 in Raritan Township,NJ, Betty moved to Milford NJ where she lived for 58 years. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1950 and worked at Sears in Flemington, NJ, she was also a homemaker. Betty enjoyed mowing lawns locally for many years. She was an avid race fan and long time supporter of her sons racing career, she enjoyed snowmobiling and camping and spending treasured time with her family.

Daughter of the late Herman and Maria Kotz Heinze, Betty is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, George F. Butler, Sr. She is also survived by two daughters Linda Applegate of Stewartsville, NJ , Lori Zangli and husband Nick of Upper Black Eddy, PA , two sons, George F. Butler Jr. of Milford, NJ and Gary C. Butler and wife Margret of Phillipsburg, NJ. She will be greatly missed by her seven beautiful grandchildren, Amanda, Kristopher, Caitlyn, Cale, Allyson, Jack and Emma.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 22, 2010 at 10 A.M. at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow at the Frenchtown Cemetery, Frenchtown, NJ. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
