Esther F. Carver, 83, of Milford, NJ passed away on Friday April 26, 2013 at her home.

Born February 25, 1930 in Erwinna, PA, Esther lived in Frenchtown, NJ before moving to Milford 32 years ago. She graduated from Frenchtown High School in 1947. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed gardening and caring for her plants and flowers. Esther was a former member of the Frenchtown United Methodist Church where she had worked as a secretary at one time and taught Sunday school.

Daughter of the late Jacob and Ruth Hillpot Frankenfield, Esther is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Horace E. Carver. She is also survived by her two sons, Joel Carver and his wife Ruth and Thomas Carver and his wife Donna, all of Holland Township, NJ, sisters Jane Gordon of Milford, NJ and Jeanne Shirk of Florida, brother Chester Frankenfield of California and two grandsons Scott and Daniel Carver. She was predeceased by four sisters Pearl Tange, Olive Strauss, Ida Mae Sutphin and Pauline Serfass.

A private graveside service will be held at the Upper Tinicum Cemetery in Tinicum Township, PA. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.
