Esther May Lutz, 93, of Erwinna, Tinicum Township, PA passed away on Saturday August 29, 2009 at Doylestown Hospital.

Born January 6, 1916 in Philadelphia, PA, Esther lived in Carversville, PA and Ottsville, PA before moving to Tinicum Township over 70 years ago. She was a retired Post Master for Erwinna, PA, where she worked for many years and she was a homemaker. Esther was a member of the Emmanuel Reformed Episcopal Church in Tinicum Twsp., past president of the Frenchtown Senior Citizens, member of the Ottsville Senior Citizens and a life member of the Delaware Valley Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Auxillary in Erwinna. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her many family members and friends.

Daughter of the late William and Minerva Bambery, Esthers beloved husband William Calvin Buck Lutz passed away in 1982. She is survived by her son William C. Lutz, Jr. of Erwinna, PA, two daughters Marjorie Lear of Millersville, MD and Carol Jones of Woodlawn, VA, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and a great, great grandson. She was predeceased by her daughter Sandra LaPoidevin, one sister and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 2, 2009 at 10 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ with Pastor William Garrison officiating. Interment will follow in Upper Tinicum Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9-10 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
