Ethel M. Stahley Obituary

Ethel M. Stahley, 73, of Warrington, PA, formerly of Revere, PA, passed away on Monday May 9, 2011 at the Fox Sub-Acute Center in Warrington.

Born November 24, 1937 in Upper Black Eddy, PA, Ethel lived in Upper Black Eddy and Revere, PA, before moving to Warrington three years ago. She graduated from Palisades High School and had worked at the Brenda Jane Shop in Ottsville and the Revere General Store. She was also a homemaker. Ethel was an artistic person and enjoyed drawing and collecting dolls. She will be dearly missed by her beloved family. She was a member of the Upper Tinicum Lutheran Church and the former Marinestien Club (St. Johns Social Club) in Nockamixon Township where she ran the kitchen at one time.

Daughter of the late Dale and Josephine Burger Houseworth, Ethels beloved husband Bernard Stahley predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Brownell and her husband Jeff of Riegelsville, PA and her son James D. Stahley and his fianc Patty Dunbar of Revere, PA and five grandchildren Christina, Sheena, Savannah, P.J. and Jackie.

Funeral services will be held on Friday May 13, 2011 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ with Pastor Tim Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Upper Tinicum Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Friday from 10 to 11 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
