Eugene J. Fletcher, 81, of Holland Township, NJ passed away at Morristown Hospital on Wednesday October 14, 2009.

Born October 21, 1927 in Titusville, NJ, Eugene lived in Lebanon, NJ before moving to Holland Township, NJ in 1985. He is a veteran of the US Army and served in World War II. Eugene was an electrical contractor and was self-employed for over 50 years. He was a member of the Everittstown United Methodist Church and the Amwell Masonic Lodge #12. He was also a life member of the NRA and the American Hunter Assoc. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Eugene is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Dorothy M. Dilts Fletcher, his daughter Debora Williams and her husband Paul of Holly Springs, NC, brother Robert Fletcher of Cream Ridge, NJ, sister Marie Bothers of Granville, NY and grandson Specialist Mitchell Hallock of the 10th Mountain Division of the US Army. Eugene was pre-deceased by his mother, Catherine Hansen Fletcher, father William Fletcher, brothers Harry, John and Raymond, and sisters Nettie and Helen.

Services are private and arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.
