Eugene D. Pearson, 68 of Holland Township, NJ passed away on Wednesday February 2, 2011 at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ.
Born December 15, 1942 in Burlington, VT . Eugene lived in Hunterdon County for many years before moving to Holland Township 10 years ago. He graduated from Montclair State College. Eugene was a Vietnam veteran who served in the US Air Force for 21 years and was a Junior Air Force R.O.T.C. instructor for 25 years. He was a member of the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church and he enjoyed fishing. Eugene was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Son of the late Edwin Pearson and the late Alberta Pearson Blunck, Eugene is survived by his wife of 44 years Marcia L. (Decker) Pearson, sons Todd Pearson of Holland Township, Scott Pearson of Holland Township, Brett Pearson of Great Meadows, NJ and Glenn Pearson also of Holland Township, three daughters Jodie Drew of Hampton, NJ., Stephanie Foss of Phillipsburg, NJ and Carrie Pearson of Wind Gap, PA., a sister Mary Watt of Florida, a step brother Dan Blunck of Toms River, NJ and 13 Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 8, 2011 at 11 AM at the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 2 Race St., (Union Twp.) Pittstown, NJ. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 PM at Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd. Holland Township, NJ 08848
