Evelyn Jean Sinclair, 80,of Phillipsburg,NJ passed away on Saturday July 10, 2010, at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Born December 1, 1929 in Morristown, NJ., Evelyn lived most of her life in Holland Township before moving several years ago to Phillipsburg, NJ. She was a homemaker who worked as a telephone operator and at Bambergers Department Store.Evelyn was a long time member of the Holland Presbyterian Church, she was a loving and high spirited person cherished and loved by her family and friends. She loved listening to Country music especially Bill Anderson.

Daughter of the late Charles and Bertha (Whitmore)Howell, Evelyn is survived by her son Brian Sinclair of Phillipsburg, NJ and a daughter, Diane Fish of Red Oak, Iowa, six Grandchildren and four Great-Grandchildren. She is predeceased by her loving husband Lester N. Sinclair Sr., her two daughters; Barbara Morgan and Sherrie Sinclair and a brother, Charles Howell.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 16, 2010 at 12:00 PM. at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow in Holland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 10:00 to 12:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.
