Florence Elizabeth Clauson, 89, of Upper Nazareth Township, PA, formerly of Holland Township, NJ passed away on Sunday September 23, 2012 at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, PA.

Born January20, 1923 in Riegelsville (Pohatcong Twp.), NJ, Florence lived most of her life in Holland Township, NJ. She graduated from Frenchtown High School. Florence worked at Create Your Own Crafts in Alexandria Twp., NJ and at Spadea Manufacturing in Milford, NJ at one time. She was a Girl Scout Leader and Den Mother in Holland Township and was a long time member of the Holland Presbyterian Church.

Daughter of the late Preston and Anne Fine Walters, Florence is survived by two sons Robert P. Clauson and his wife Monica of Orangevale, CA and Thomas L. Clauson and his wife Joyce of Pen Argyl, PA, two daughters Susan A. Lomurno of Bechtelsville, PA and Linda J. Decker and her husband William of Moscow, PA, daughter-in-law Jackie Clauson of Carmichael, CA, seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Norman M. Clauson, and two sons Norman Clauson, Jr. and Richard Clauson.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday September 27, 2012 at 2 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ with the Reverend William TexCulton officiating. Interment will follow in Riegelsville Cemeteryin Riegelsville, PA. Visitation will also be on Thursday from 1 2 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
