Frank Brindisi, 80, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2010, at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ.
Born on February 24, 1929 in Somerville, NJ, Frank was a lifelong resident of Everittstown, NJ. Frank was a dairy farmer in Everittstown, NJ until the late 1970s and then became a custodian for the Mt. Olive School District retiring in 1997. He attended St. Edward the Confessor Church in Milford, NJ. He enjoyed carpentry, bird watching, hunting and playing the lottery.
Son of the late Robert and Concetta Brindisi, Frank is survived by his stepmother Adelina Brindisi, with whom he resided: sisters; Mary Gialanella, Molly Gialanella, Estelle Palmer and Theresa Vullo: brothers; Reverend P. Arthur Brindisi and his wife Norma, and Peter Brindisi and his wife Pat: half-sisters; Tish Brindisi, Anna Brindisi and Joanna Brindisi: half-brothers; George Brindisi and his wife Sue, Paul Brindisi and his wife Gale, and Tony Brindisi and his wife Maryann: as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters, Frances Brindisi, Josephine Cammaretta and Elizabeth Fumosa and his brothers, Robert Brindisi and Fred Brindisi.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 11 am at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township. Interment will follow at Frenchtown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
