Fred Mularchuk, 85, of Holland Township, NJ passed away on Wednesday November 21, 2012 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Clinton Township, NJ.
Born July 4, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA, Fred lived in Tinicum Township, PA before moving to Holland Township, NJ in 1954. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. from 1946 to 1948 and he earned a certificate in General Agriculture from the Bucks County Veterans Administration. Fred worked as a tractor trailer driver for many years for many different companies. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Fred was a long time member of the Upper Tinicum Lutheran Church and the Riegelsville American Legion Post 950.
Son of the late Stephen and Felicia Mularchuk, Fred is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Lois J. Weaver Mularchuk, two sons Stephen of Pensacola, FL and Daniel of Easton, PA, his daughter Sharon Thierry of Nazareth, PA, five grandchildren Stephanie, Michael, Conner, Owen and Tristan and two great grandchildren Kayla and Amidy. He was predeceased by his sister Lucy Levesque.
Funeral services will be held on Monday November 26, 2012 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow at Upper Tinicum Cemetery in Upper Black Eddy, PA. Visitation will also be on Monday from 10 11 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
