Fredric R Kunich

Fredric R. Kunich, 90, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born on September 14, 1935, in Dover, NJ, Fred grew up in Florham Park, NJ, before settling in Holland Township, NJ. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.

Son of the late Albert and Roberta (Campbell) Kunich, Fred is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Joan L. (Pauss) Kunich, and four children, three siblings, ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. His children are his daughter Kimberly Sigafoos and her husband Tank of Long Beach Island, NJ, his son F. Kyle Kunich and his wife Susan of Holland Township, NJ, his daughter Kelly Pryslak and her husband John of Holland Township, NJ, and his son Kevin Kunich and his wife Wendy of Jasper, GA. His surviving siblings are his brother Bruce Kunich of Bridgewater, NJ, his sisters Susan Budnik of Marlton, NJ, and Judy Diacik of Newfoundland, PA. Fred was predeceased by his sister Roberta DeCaro.

While Fred enjoyed boating and fishing on LBI, feeding and watching birds, and working with tools, his passion was spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, the loves of his life.
