Georgette M. O’Toole, 87, of Flemington, NJ, formerly of Milford, NJ, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown, PA.
Born June 25, 1937 in Manville, NJ, Georgette graduated from Dunellen High School in 1955. She moved to Milford, NJ in 1979. Georgette was a homemaker. In 1974, she and her husband, Henry, purchased Brookside Inn in Milford, NJ, opening O’Tooles (Good Food and Drink), which they owned and managed for over thirty years. Georgette loved to go bowling. She was an avid traveler taking cruises to Alaska and trips to Hawaii were amongst her favorite. During her time in Milford, NJ, Georgette attended St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church. Most of all, Georgette was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be dearly missed.
Daughter of the late George and Mary (Kupcha) Belanger, Georgette is survived by her daughter Mary Ellen O’Toole of Baptistown, NJ, her two sons Kevin O’Toole of Newtown, PA, and Keith O’Toole of Troutman, NC, her sister Dolores Bobrowski of Manville, NJ, her two half-brothers George Belanger of Virginia and Thomas Belanger of Hillsborough, NJ, her half-sister Carol Byrd of Manchester Township, NJ, her eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Henry M. O’Toole in January 2024, her son Kerry O’Toole in 2015, and her half-sister Yvonne Williams.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
