Geraldine "Geri" Hedges, 83 of Pattenburg, NJ, passed away on, Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born April 15, 1941 in Elizabeth, NJ, Geri grew up and lived there until moving to Pattenburg in 1978. She graduated from Batton High School in Elizabeth, NJ. She worked as a dental hygienist and a lunch room aide at Madison Monroe School #16 while living in Elizabeth, NJ. Geri worked for The State of New Jersey, Spruce Run Recreational Facility in Union Township, NJ. Prior to that she worked at Beaver Brook Country Club in Clinton Township, NJ. Additionally, Geri was a homemaker during her 63 year marriage. She loved music and singing. Geri had a beautiful singing voice and sang at various places including her church choir, weddings and other events. She was an avid reader, loved spending time at the shore and enjoyed all types of shopping. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is the daughter of the late Michael and Irene (Guy) Supak. Geri is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Stephen P. Hedges, her four children, Stephen G. Hedges and his companion Heidi, Lori A. Hedges-Stephens and her husband Scott, Michele B. Hedges and her husband Peter and Christopher M. Hedges, her sister Yvonne Supak, her three grandchildren Stephen, Keira and Ryan and her great-granddaughter Nina.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 2-4 pm at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 11:00am at the funeral home, with Father Edward Higgins officiating. Interment will follow at the Milford Union Cemetery in Milford, NJ.
