Henry Charles Verity, Sr., 92, of Franklin Township, NJ passed away on Friday June 19, 2009 at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ.
Born October 21, 1916 in Baldwin, Long Island, NY, Henry lived in Baptistown, NJ before moving to Franklin Township in 1943. He was a farmer since he was fifteen years old and ran his familys farm in Franklin Township. Henry enjoyed traveling and camping. He was a long time member of the Everittstown United Methodist Church and a member of the Jersey Gypsies Camping Club. He will be dearly missed by his loving family.
Son of the late Charles Henry and Cora Hinkel Verity, Henrys beloved wife, Agnes Shirley Baker Verity passed away in 2008. He is survived by his son Henry Charles Verity, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Franklin Township, two daughters Sandra Jean Shoop of Milford, NJ and Beverly Ann Farrow and her husband William II of Union Township, NJ, his sister Irene Leon of Kingwood Township, NJ, eight grandchildren Richard, Timothy, Scott, Tamara, David, Shawne, William III and Jason, and 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Elsie Kocsis.
Funeral services will be held privately under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
