Herman Robert Biba, 93, of Alexandria Township, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at the Country Arch Care Center in Union Township, NJ.
Born June 19, 1931 in Orange, NJ, Herman lived in Union, NJ and Colonia, NJ before moving to Haines City, FL. He moved to Alexandria Township, NJ two years ago. He graduated from Union High School. Herman served in the Army National Guard during the Korean War era. He worked as a machinist and was the owner of Biba Machine Products in Kenilworth, NJ, formerly George Biba & Co. in Irvington, NJ, which still continues to be owned and operated by his son. Herman was an avid fisherman and especially loved fly fishing. He loved camping and traveled to 48 of the 50 states.
Son of the late George and Elizabeth (Steyer) Biba, Herman is survived by his daughter Nancy J. Mendonca and her husband Helio, his son Kenneth R. Biba and his wife Wai Tang, his four grandchildren Joshua, Stefanie, Katherine and her husband Dan, and Matthew, and his four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Jane M. (Reiss) Biba, and his sister Joan Holler.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
