Irene Davis Pursell, 90, passed away surrounded by the love of God and her family, on February 28, 2013. Irene lived most of her life in Milford, NJ. She was a lifelong member of the Milford Presbyterian Church. She loved her church familyand was affectionately called the pie lady. They provided her with great love and support before, during, and after her move to Rhode Island in 2010.

Irene was the wife of William L. Davis and Franklin Pursell. The greatest joys of her life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son William Davis, Jr. and his wife Virginia, and her daughter Mary Clausius, with whom she resided. She also leaves six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, her sisters Rose Bergen, Katherine Bailey and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday April 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Milford with Pastor Linda Bullock officiating. Interment will be at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Alexandria Township, NJ.

Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.
