Jackson E. Fisher, Sr., 82, of Baptistown (Kingwood Twp.), NJ, passed away on Thursday April 7, 2011 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born September 29, 1928 in Bristol, PA, Jack was a lifelong resident of Baptistown, NJ. He graduated from Frenchtown High School where he was a star athlete all four years in basketball, baseball and soccer. He played Tri-County Baseball and played with various softball teams and bowling leagues.
Jack served in the US Army and the Army Reserve. He worked at the Riegel Paper Corp. in Milford for 24 years and he was the manager of the Riegel Ridge Bowling Ally and Frenchtown Lanes, before retiring. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.

Jack was a member of the Kingwood Twp. Fire Co. and Rescue Squad, the Frenchtown American Legion, the Milford VFW and the Kingwood Sportsman Club.

Son of the late Leroy and Ethel Boston Fisher, Jack is survived by his beloved wife Helen Krewson Fisher, they just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on St. Patricks Day of this year.
He is also survived by his loving children Pam Zazzaro and her husband Patrick of Manassas, VA, Jack Fisher, Jr. and his wife Deb of Frenchtown, NJ, Jeff Fisher of Milford, NJ and Sheryl Cooper and her husband Kevin of Hampton, NJ, grandchildren Lori, Michael, Mark, Alex, Amber, Jax, Matt, Tiffany, Ryan and Jenness, great grandchildren Nathen, Emma Mae and Naomi and his little buddy Rufus.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 12, 2011 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ, with Pastor Patrick Johnson officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Ewing Church Cemetery in Trenton, NJ. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 7 9 PM at the funeral home.
