James A. Fehr, 74, of Kingwood Township, NJ, passed away on Thursday December 2, 2010 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ

Born March 28, 1936 in Phillipsburg, NJ, James grew up in Washington, NJ and lived in Frenchtown, NJ before moving to Kingwood Township in 1977. He was the owner of Fehrs Auto Body in Kingwood Township for over 45 years, he had also worked at Mikes Auto Body in Washington, NJ. James enjoyed Polka dancing, Drag racing at Englishtown Race Track and fishing. He was a loving husband and father and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Son of the late Hans and Irene (Perini) Fehr, James is survived by his beloved wife Jennie M. (Hydash) Fehr, three sons James A. Fehr, Jr. and his wife Lori of Florida, David M. Fehr and his wife Connie of Palmer Township, PA and Joseph J. Fehr of Phillipsburg, NJ, his sister Joyce Makatura, two brothers Hans and Micheal Fehr and five Grandchildren Robert BJ, Gavin, Rebecca, Katelynn and Joseph, Jr.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 7, 2010 at 7 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ with Pastor Patrick Johnson officiating. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 6-7 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
