JoAnn M. Agnew, 79 of Alexandria Township, NJ passed away on Monday August 27, 2012 at home, surrounded by those she loved.
Born October 21, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA, she was raised in Easton, PA and settled in Alexandria with her husband, Jim. She worked for W.T. Grant Department Store in Flemington and more recently, as a cook at Stone Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ. (now, Country Arch) She lived for the joy of, and will be dearly missed by, her beloved family and many friends.
Daughter of the late Walter Kelly and the late Katherine Dabbs Kelly and wife of the late Albert James Agnew (April 2012); JoAnn was survived by her son, Dan Mock of Stockton, NJ, a step-son, James Agnew of Manville, NJ, two step-daughters, Jaime Agnew of Easton, PA and Lisa Hall of Palmer Township, PA; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Deborah Ungerer in 2008, and two grandsons, Daniel Taylor in 2001 and Donald Taylor in 2007.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday September 1, 2012 at 10 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. A private interment will be scheduled in Locust Grove Cemetery in Quakertown, NJ. Visitation: Saturday 9-10am September 1, just prior to services at the funeral home.
