John L. Godown, 54, of Sellersville, PA, formerly of Hunterdon County, NJ, passed away on Tuesday July 13, 2010 at Grandview Hospital in W. Rockhill Township, PA.

Born February 17, 1956 in Raritan Township, NJ, John lived in the Frenchtown and Milford, NJ area for many years before moving to Sellersville, PA. He served his country in the US Navy. He had worked at many different jobs over the years and he enjoyed music and playing the guitar.

Son of the late Elmer and Mary Bisson Godown, John is survived by four brothers, Barry and his wife Debbie of Phillipsburg, NJ, James and his wife Karen of Houtzdale, PA, Robert and his wife Nancy of Ringoes, NJ and George of Port St. Lucy, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.
