Joseph Michael Burger, Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, farmer, musician, entrepreneur and all around expert, passed away on February 24, 2012 at the age of 62 at his home in Alexandria Township, NJ.
From his humble beginning on the Burgers family dairy farm, to his years at Valley Forge Military Academy, where he was the proud recipient of the Marshall Baker Award, to his snowmobile business SnoTech, to his overall knowledge and ability to tinker with everything, he had an accomplished life.
If you were lucky enough to have met Joe, you know that he lived for his family and the farm he helped build and you would have stories to share for generations to come. Not one person that met Joe could say he wasnt the brightest and most intelligent man that they have ever met. Whether it was tractors, motorized vehicles, computers, music, politics, or just everyday life problems, Joe had a solution and, of course, a story to accompany that always stuck with you.
Joe is survived by his wife of 34 years Denise, his two sons, Joseph and Michael, his daughter in law, Melyssa, his future grandchild and pets Whitey and Bailey. He was predeceased by his mother Josephine Mae Burger, his father Joseph Michael Burger, Sr., his mother in law Carrie Martine Thomas and his father in law Ernest Theophile Thomas.
A Celebration of Joes Life will be held on Saturday March 3, 2012 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Visitation will also be held on Saturday from 10 11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
