Joseph V. Cosentino Obituary

Joseph V. Cosentino, 60, of Holland Township, NJ passed away on Friday April 6, 2012 at his home.

Born December 16, 1951 in Newark, NJ, Joe lived in Piscataway, NJ before moving to Holland Township twenty years ago. He graduated from Piscataway High School and Rutgers University where he earned a B.S. in Environmental Science and Health. He worked for many years for the United States Environmental Protection Agency out of Edison, NJ as an environmental scientist and an on-site coordinator. Joe served his country in the U.S. Army during the final years of the Vietnam Era. Joe enjoyed the outdoors, especially working outside and fishing. He also enjoyed building bird houses.

Son of the late James and Doris White Cosentino, Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Nancy Locke Cosentino. He is also survived by his brother James and his wife Susan of Piscataway, NJ, his sister Teresa Siegel of Woodbridge, NJ and five nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 12 noon at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Visitation also be on Wednesday, from 10 AM until 12 noon, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hunterdon Humane Society, 576 Staments Rd., Milford, NJ 08848.
