Joseph Ogrodnik, 91, of Kingwood Township, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday September 29, 2012 at his family's farm, after a long illness.

Born September 13, 1921, Joseph was the fourth son of the late Alic Ogrodnik and Anna Eschuk Ogrodnik. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in the European Theater of Operations during World War II, attaining the rank of sergeant. After the war, Joe worked at Johns Manville and part-time at Ditschman Auto in Frenchtown, NJ. He bought his own farm with his brother, Alic Jr. in 1951 and then worked in the maintenance department of Riegel Paper Corp., Milford, NJ until he retired. Joe was a kind and gentle man, and he will be missed.

Joe is survived by his brothers Steve and Alic, Jr., and his sister Anne Felix all of Kingwood Township, NJ, as well as his nieces and nephews. Two brothers Paul and Mike predeceased him.

Services will be private under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ
