Josephine A. Raimond, 86, of Upper Black Eddy, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday February 6, 2012 at the home of her daughter in Chestertown, MD.

Born June 3, 1925 in Upper Black Eddy, PA, Josephine lived in Alaska, New York City and Maryland before moving back to Upper Black Eddy over 40 years ago. Her last job was at the Hunterdon Developmental Center in Clinton, NJ. Prior to that, she was employed for 18 years at the Shenberger Insurance Agency in Frenchtown, NJ. Josephine was a member of the Milford VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Holland-Milford Senior Citizens. She also volunteered for Meals-on-Wheels. Josephine enjoyed bowling, traveling, biking, cooking and reading.

Daughter of the late Laurence and Margaret Sciss Free Dilello, Josephine is survived by her two sons, Larry V. Raimond, of Chestertown, MD, Marty Raimond and his wife Tracy, of Chesapeake City, MD, daughter Jennifer Roberts and her husband David, of Chestertown, MD, her sisters Rose A. Free, of Phillipsburg, NJ, Carmella Marrolli and her husband Donald, of Upper Black Eddy, PA, five grandchildren, Heath, Vince, Austin, Evan & Alyson, two great-grandchildren, Shane & Kaylee, and two nieces, Rosemarie Maltese and her husband Tom, & Sharon Hendricks and her husband Dennis. She was predeceased by her brother Alfred Dilello.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday February 26, 2012 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with a memorial service at 3:30 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Milford, NJ. Interment will be private at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, in Haycock, PA.
